Our universe is full of
breath-taking wonders. There is so much of it we miss from our filtered vintage
points of perception, as we zip through it at the speed of light.
The Helix Nebula is said to be
located 700 light-years away from us, in the Aquarius constellation.
Apparently, it's 'just' a dead star cloaked in dust.
Side-note (a): There is a lot
of dismissive power in the word 'just'. If ignorance was a parade, 'just' would
have to be its opening act, or float.
Side-note (b): If our recent
human collective journey through time was a soap-opera, this year would have to
be the one filled with shocking revelations.
Unless, my phone's news feeds
thingy is lying to me, it appears that within a few months span,
current-paradigm-challenging discoveries have been popping from archeological
sites, and the outer cosmos itself, like corn kernels before a good movie.
Might 2020 be a year of great
revelations? A year of shedding false beliefs? If it is, I say hang in there,
and try to enjoy the ride, 'cause who knows how much shedding one has to do
before the 'light' reaches its destination -that 'I' thing that makes you 'you'
and me, 'me'.
I say hang in there, because
the process can be painful when experienced from a state of fearful resistance.
Now, who amongst us doesn't operate from such a state, even if only when no one
is looking.
As the calcified veils of our
deepest fears are touched by the light of 'Truth', we can either invite the
'grace' of our 'source/Spirit' to guide us into surrender, or refuse to let go
of the old structures of beliefs, and be crushed to a pulp by the currents of
creation. .
Of course, I might 'just' be
tripping on my own fertile imagination.
So, just in case... May we all
be one with the rhythms of our source's cosmically creative dance.
Side-note (c): all words
bracketed by quote unquote marks ' ' are thus presented given their amorphous
descriptive quality, which will differ based on perspective.
And
that's all, folks!
