Evolving beyond fear

The process of soulful transformation has quickened.

All souls involved in the human arena are currently feeling and experiencing this transformation of the inner fabric of their own being and worlds.

This current transformation is a transitional shift from one spectrum of 'human-specific' consciousness to a broader one (which we could call soul consciousness).

Already much information from this broader spectrum of consciousness is seeping into our day to day experiences of reality, showing up in all sorts of ways, (popular culture, individual interests, aspirations, spirituality, alternative healing arts, the resurgence of practices linked to ancient mystical or shamanic traditions, etc.)

At a personal level, this transitional shift of consciousness comes as a shedding, or a releasing, of the fear-based beliefs, attitudes, positions, conditionings, perspectives, stories, identities and patterns.

For the incarnated soul it is akin to shedding, breaking free, from the old constraining 'skin suit' to evolve into a different paradigmal experience.

For most incarnated souls, this experience can be quite painful, destabilizing and confusing. This is so because, it usually brings with it a sense of great loss of purpose, or ungroundedness. This feels like being sucked into a black-hole leading to a great dark night of the soul.

This journey of the incarnated consciousness is that of Innana's, or Ishtar's painfully transformational descent into the underworld. It is also the journey of Sedna, the young Inuit woman who ends up dissolving into the ocean.

While we instinctively panic and try to back-pedal our way out of this abyss we're already in, or are moving towards, the Medicine elders tell us, 'Do not fear the fall. Do not fear the encounter with your own shadow. Darkness and Light are one in Spirit.'

While in all cases the conditions leading to this shift are part of a continuum that stretches back into time through heredity, blood lineage, and the soul's journey itself, its current ramifications might have began gaining clearer shape and momentum within the last decade.

If you've been feeling lost and confused about your life purpose, if you've been dealing with unabating pain, numbing depression, inconsolable grief, the old wisdom of sacred trees, winds and rivers seeks to tell you that you are a timeless soul that is awakening to its eternal nature.

Offer your sorrow and pain to the wind, to the waves of the ocean, the flowing waters of the rivers, to sunlight, and to the earth that supports and sustains you. You are a child of Mother Earth, coming back home.

Let go of fear; dance with the pulse of creation.

Dance with Spirit, so that you may rejoice.
