Background beliefs and inner-conversation

This post is an invitation, for all of us to attend to those often insidiously woven background beliefs we all have been handed in this life.

These foundational beliefs are very connected to our most visceral emotions, and are usually expressed through our incessant inner-talk, often as fear, doubt, shame, guilt, judgement, self-belittlement, unworthiness, self-entitlement, self-aggrandizement, victimhood, martyrdom, pride, should-have , if only, etc.

We are currently journeying through a phase of the Creative dance of Source, in which the creative power of Source is 'working' us, or 'transforming' us, or 'sublimating' us, at a highly accelerated rhythm.

In such a phase, our immediate thoughts (the ones that are charged with emotions, and the ones we linger on the most), tend to be quickly reflected externally in our lives.

I wonder how many of you out there are experiencing an abundance of serendipitous coincidences these days.

May we all attend to our inner-chatter. May our deepest soulful wounds be healed.

ps: this isn't an invitation to flagellate ourselves over our own 'unhealthy', or 'negative', beliefs. Nor is it an invitation to meet them with a machete, or a chainsaw. Nor is it an invitation to attend to them by weeding them out of our gardens, or yards.

These beliefs are the expression of what is often referred to as our repressed 'inner-child', or 'inner-innocence'. This inner-child goes on speaking to us, always. The more we silence it. The louder she/he gets. The more we repress it, the more pained she/he becomes. Our inner-child calls for love, compassion, and true listening. This is a process we cannot outsource.

May your Inner-child feel loved, appreciated, and embraced.

We are one.
