Karim Fadali, born in Casablanca, writes novels inspired by his unabated passion for the ocean, the Romany storytelling tradition he was exposed to during his childhood, and the quixotically existential quest of -his most interesting self- a globetrotting surfing yogi searching for a common ground between his own fuzzy new-age beliefs and a five-pillared Andalucian Islamic heritage he cannot comform to.
He currently lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
