Sitting, transfixed and lost,
the internet steals my energy,
blogs and web design,
writing is forgotten,
time is lacking and
my heart is aching.
Working, in iddleness,
out of necessity, we sway,
lose track of what
was so vivid and clear,
not even a year from
this festive date.
Let us remember then,
what the heart, all along,
knew. Let ink meet paper.
Let words flow until none
are left to burden and repress.
Let this new year bring wisdom,
and clarity of mind.
May happiness seek our company,
as well as yours.
May joy fill your days, as much
as ours.
May you be content in
the here and now.
May you shine,
a light in the darkness
of others.
May you be a flame of joy.
Today,
and maybe Tomorrow.
